Terms of Use

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using TwinSelf, you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

These terms constitute a binding agreement between you and TwinSelf Tecnologia Ltda. ("TwinSelf", "we").

2. What TwinSelf does

TwinSelf is a health data tracking platform with insights generated by Artificial Intelligence. You can log biomarkers, supplements, sleep, nutrition, exercise, and other health data. Our AI analyzes this data to identify patterns, trends, and suggestions.

We call this your "Digital Twin" -- a data-driven representation of your health journey. It learns from what you share and helps you see connections you might not otherwise notice.

3. TwinSelf is NOT medical advice

Pursuant to CFM Resolution 2.454/2026, Art. 4(I): all clinical decisions based on AI-generated data are the exclusive responsibility of a qualified physician. TwinSelf's AI results are merely informational and must never be used as the sole basis for medical decisions.

If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call your local emergency number immediately (SAMU 192). Do not rely on TwinSelf for urgent health situations.

4. AI Processing

Your health data is processed by Artificial Intelligence powered by Anthropic Claude. The AI servers are located in the United States.

Before your data is sent to the AI, we pseudonymize it -- that is, we remove or replace direct identifiers (such as your name and email) so that the AI cannot personally identify you.

You can revoke your consent for AI processing at any time in Settings > Privacy. When you revoke AI consent, the Digital Twin features (insights, simulations, chat) will be disabled, but your raw health data will remain accessible.

Your health data (biomarkers, sleep, supplements, physical activity, and wearable data) is processed by Artificial Intelligence (the Anthropic Claude model) to generate personalized insights, predictive simulations, and health optimization recommendations. Prior to processing, identifiable personal data (name, email, CPF, phone number) is automatically removed. AI processing is authorized through specific consent collected during registration and may be revoked at any time in Settings > Privacy, without affecting the processing carried out beforehand.

5. International Data Transfer

To enable AI features, your pseudonymized health data is transferred to servers in the United States. This transfer is carried out on the basis of Art. 33, II(a) of the LGPD -- with your specific and informed consent, provided when creating your account and enabling AI features.

Your database (PostgreSQL) is also hosted in the United States, via Railway. We use TLS 1.3 encryption for all data in transit and AES-256 for data at rest.

To enable processing by Artificial Intelligence, pseudonymized health data is transferred to servers operated by Anthropic, PBC, located in the United States of America, in compliance with Article 33 of the LGPD. The transfer is supported by a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) entered into with Anthropic, which ensures a level of protection compatible with Brazilian legislation. The data is not used by Anthropic to train AI models. You may request detailed information about this transfer at any time by emailing [email protected].

6. Your Responsibilities

• Provide accurate health data. Inaccurate data produces inaccurate insights.
• Keep your login credentials confidential. Do not share your account with third parties.
• Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making medical decisions based on AI insights.
• Do not use TwinSelf for any unlawful purpose or to submit harmful, abusive, or misleading content.
• Do not attempt to reverse engineer, scrape data automatically, or interfere with the operation of the platform.

7. Intellectual Property

TwinSelf holds all rights to the platform -- the code, design, AI models, brand, and documentation. Using TwinSelf does not grant you any ownership rights over the platform itself.

You are the owner of your health data. We do not claim ownership over any data you submit. You can export or delete your data at any time.

By using TwinSelf, you grant us a limited license to process your data solely for the provision of the service (generating insights, running simulations, displaying dashboards). We do not use your data for advertising nor sell it to third parties.

8. Limitation of Liability

TwinSelf is provided "as is". We do our best to offer accurate and useful insights, but we cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any AI-generated content.

We are not responsible for any health outcomes, medical decisions, or personal consequences resulting from the use of TwinSelf. AI insights are informational tools, not medical advice.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to TwinSelf is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim (or R$100 if you are on the free plan).

TwinSelf is a health tracking and optimization tool. It does NOT provide medical diagnoses, prescriptions, or therapeutic guidance. The simulations, projections, and insights generated by Artificial Intelligence are informational and based on statistical correlations of your personal data, and do not constitute medical opinion. Any decision related to treatment, medication, or supplementation must be validated with a qualified healthcare professional. TwinSelf does not replace medical consultation.

9. Termination

You can delete your account at any time in Settings > Account. When you delete your account, we permanently remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (audit logs are kept for 6 years).

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, use the platform in a way that is harmful to other users, or engage in fraudulent activities. You will be notified by email before or at the time of suspension.

Before termination, you can export all of your health data in a portable format (JSON/CSV) in Settings > Export Data.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and notify you by email or in-app notification at least 15 days before the new terms take effect.

Continued use of TwinSelf after the new terms take effect means you accept the updated terms. If you disagree, you may delete your account before the effective date.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the District of São Paulo, SP, Brazil.

This agreement is subject to the General Data Protection Law (LGPD -- Law 13.709/2018) and the Consumer Defense Code (CDC -- Law 8.078/1990).
